The Flywheel PTO (VP.SAE1.14.001) positioned between the engine and main transmission provides high torque independent of the speed of the auxiliary equipment in heavy-duty vehicles with superstructure. The PTO is compatible with SAE1 engine connection. It is driven by the engine flywheel and works independent of the vehicle clutch. The system is oil-cooled and the drive from the engine is transmitted to the PTO on the top axis, thereby activating the equipment connected on the output. The system consists of a single PTO output.

The overall system provides uninterrupted motion transmission from the engine through the main transmission clutch pack. The PTO on the top can be engaged/disengaged through hydraulic control.

The Engine Flywheel Power Take-Offs (PTOs) are perfectly suited for heavy duty and continuous use applications, such as concrete pumps, firefighting vehicles, concrete mixers and sewer cleaning vehicles. The EFP-1 power take-offs are suitable for a wide range of engine/gearbox combinations up to a maximum power output of 410 kW for continuous use (max. PTO output torque 3000 Nm). The Engine Flywheel Power Take Offs have the following characteristics: they fit and install on the following transmissions (manual, automated and fully automatic) ZF, Allison, Eaton, Daimler, Isuzu, Hino, Nissan, etc., and various engine brands allow the power take off to be used both with stationary vehicles and in mobile conditions allow the maximum available torque to be taken from the drive shaft
