P1 Gasoline Portable Fire Pump - Non-Priming Motopump (23 HP)
The Kozmaksan P1 Gasoline portable fire pump is a first-of-its-kind non-priming motopump, powered by a 23 HP Vanguard gasoline engine. Unlike conventional portable fire pumps that rely on a separate priming system, the P1 Gasoline uses Kozmaksan's patented mechanical suction technology, pushing water upward with the help of a propeller rather than creating a vacuum — meaning the pump can restart self-suction within seconds even after running dry, with no loss of flow rate up to 7 meters of suction lift and a maximum geographical suction depth of 10 meters.
This patented non-priming suction system eliminates one of the most common failure points in portable firefighting pumps: the priming mechanism itself. Built with a two-cycle, 2-cylinder, air-cooled 627cc engine delivering 17.2 kW (23 HP), the P1 Gasoline features electric and manual starting, an 8.5-liter fuel tank, and fuel-injected combustion for reliable performance in the field.
The pump body is manufactured from corrosion-resistant, advanced aluminum alloy and splits into two separate parts for fast, tool-free maintenance — with all components manufactured in-house by Kozmaksan, ensuring straightforward spare parts availability worldwide. Two unique protection systems safeguard the pump and engine against damage from hard debris entering the suction hose during operation, and the pump's dry-running capability means operating without water causes no damage to the pump or engine — a critical safety feature during firefighting operations.
Beyond structural firefighting, this multipurpose portable water pump handles dirty water, flood water, oily water, sewage, and seawater with equal reliability, making it suitable for fire and rescue, municipal, agricultural, and disaster-response applications. The P1 Gasoline is certified to ISO 9001, TSE, CE, and EN 14466 (the European standard for portable fire pumps), with a single-end suction centrifugal pump design featuring a 4" (100mm) Storz-type suction connection and twin 2-1/2" (65mm) Storz-type discharge outlets with ball valves.
At 75 kg dry weight (85 kg wet) and compact 500 x 850 x 750 mm dimensions, the P1 Gasoline offers a genuinely portable solution without compromising on pressure performance or flow reliability.
